 Dan Hurley is a longtime resident of Plainville and has just completed his first term as a Council member in the Town.

Dan has owned the Dance Hall of Plainville located on Woodford Ave for several years with his recently departed wife Christine Haddock. He is also a retiree from Atlantic Pipe Co. in Plainville. He has participated in numerous volunteer activities in the town but is most notably recognized for his 25 years as the organizer and coordinator of the annual Memorial Day parade. He is also a veteran and supports numerous veteran activities.

Dan is a strong supporter of a common sense approach to government and works for the people and business in Plainville. Additionally, he has continued to ensure that civility is in place among the leaders and citizens of the town. He has thoroughly enjoyed his first term as a Republican member of the Town Council and looks forward to continuing this important work.
