 Bob “Zimmer” Anderson was born in New Britain, but has been a long time resident of Plainville. He graduated from Plainville High School and attended CCSU and Moody’s School of Business.

Bob’s elected experience includes serving on Plainville’s Zoning Board of Appeals and as a Constable. His community activities include involvement in his church, coaching sports and also acting as a referee.

He has been a manager in the supermarket business for 30 years and most recently was a manager for Liquor Depot.

A longtime member of the Plainville Republican Town Committee, Bob’s objective is:

  • Explore revenue sources that will keep our taxes down and control town expenses
  • Work with all for the betterment of Plainville and our continued prosperity
  • Preserve open space
